The Store is again open!
I have reopened the Store for Ultra-Trackball orders.  The first batch should be to me soon and I will ship the first ones out on November 11th.  Both the empty and the completed units are available.
The Single Player Panels should become available before year-end, too.  I'm doing some work on getting them redesigned.  Drop me a line at  Sales@ArcadeCab.com to let me know if you have suggestions for the single player panels.

Trackball prototype has arrived
The Ultra-trackball prototype showed up on my doorstep today and looks great!  I am very impressed with the quality- it is entirely CNC cut.  All the effort tweaking the design certainly paid off.  It appears we are on track for mid-November availability.  Here are a few photos of the new product.

New tokens
Santoro at the BYOAC forums has produced another outstanding token design.   They are available for pre-ordering in either brass- or nickel-plating from ArcadeTokens.  The design is at the mint right now being produced.  Give them a look.

Trackball Design
The design process is still ongoing.  My plans are to have the new Ultra-Trackball units available for sale in the Store by the middle of November, just in time for Christmas orders.

Trackball (con't)
The manufacturer and I are working together to make slight design changes to enhance the controller even further.  Consequently, the prototype will be a bit longer before it reaches me.  It'll be worth the wait.

DreamHost
I have been with them a week and everything has gone well so far (crosses fingers).   It took a few days to figure out the email settings as each host has had drastically different methods of serving mail.  I believe everything is set up properly now.
Still in queue in get my PowWeb account cancelled (150 hours at the time of writing).

Trackball controller news
I am working with a professional manufacturer to produce a version of the Ultra-Trackball controller.  After consulting with two well respected organizations, I chose the plan that would keep the pricing in line with the current rates.  The other alternative, which would be an exact copy of today's design, would have bumped the price up more than I wanted at this time.  If there is enough interest, this may be offered in the future as well.  For right now, though, the revised design made the most sense.  This will allow the panels to be available much sooner than previously planned.  This design will allow a new option to be offered, as well: a flat-pack kit.  This kit would be shipped to you to quickly assemble using cam-and-post technology.  I'll keep you updated as to the progress.  There should be a prototype in my hands within the next week.  Very exciting!

More web host issues
My new web host, PowWeb, had some major issues the last two days.  For all their hype of "99.9% uptime" and "balanced servers", they had system failures where two of their clusters went totally down.  Some downtime is expected with any host but when you say "our servers are NEVER  down", it is more irritating. They did keep everyone informed so I'll see how it goes.  Sorry for the downtime.

UPDATE 10/2- They are down again.  Pretty sorry service.  Am moving to DreamHost.
