The Top Board
This is another
simple board. Start by cutting a board 20" wide x 7-15/16" deep
(see A). Next you can just place it atop the ledgers and admire
your handiwork. We'll eventually be attaching a marquee retainer
to this board, as well as the light, but that will be a little later.
You should see a nice, sharp edge where the upper-back meets this top
board, as in picture B.
Take a breather as the next step can be very
aggravating. We'll be tackling the construction of the drawer on
the next page.
